Abstract

The Rock Art of the Mediterranean Basin on the Iberian Peninsula is an opportunity for sustainable management and integrated dissemination of this singular manifestation of Spanish prehistory. It is a commitment to cultural tourism and heritage education and pale-environmental values. An active protection management that combines the requirements of heritage conservation with the need for socio-economic dynamics induced transformations.

Resumen

El Arte Rupestre del Arco Mediterráneo de la Península Ibérica constituye una oportunidad para una gestión sostenible y una divulgación integradora de esta singular manifestación de la prehistoria española. Una apuesta por el turismo cultural así como la educación en valores patrimoniales y paleoambientales. Una tutela activa de gestión que aúna las exigencias de conservación del patrimonio con la necesidad de transformaciones inducidas por las dinámicas socioeconómicas.
